Responsibilities

The Metroplex Math Circle is a weekly program for students in grades 5 - 12 who love math and who want to learn more. The Circle is sponsored in whole by the University of Texas at Dallas, so there is no tuition; however, we ask the following few things of our students.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Bring something to write with and something to write on;
  • Come to the Circle prepared to learn and discuss mathematics.

Homework: While we will give students problems to work on their own time, this homework is not required and will never be collected. However, we encourage our students to work on the problems that interest them outside of the circle.
